Kevin joined Concept Group as Director of Operations in 2003 and became a shareholder in December 2016.

With over 30 years’ experience working in the fiduciary industry, Kevin joined Concept from an international bank-owned trust company working in Guernsey and Jersey.

He has built up a wealth of experience in the formation and administration of fiduciary structures, including pensions, and is responsible for overseeing business operations, including IT and premises management.

He is a member of the International Compliance Association and holds the International Diploma in Compliance.

Roger Berry is a qualified accountant with 35 years of fiduciary and accountancy experience specialising in pension & fiduciary solutions, co-author of the UK pension industry anti-scam guidance – PSIG and vice-president and long standing GAPP committee member.

Roger was one of the original founders of the Group and its long standing Managing Director until the change in the Groups ownership in 2021.

Has sat and contributed to numerous Guernsey and UK Pension Committees: the Guernsey Financial Services Commissions Retirement Annuity Trust Review Committee, the Guernsey Association of Pension Providers (GAPP), the Guernsey Income Tax Pensions Legislation Review group and has been closely involved in the development of pension regulation in Guernsey. Has attended GAPFA (Gibraltar pension industry committee). Chaired the GAPP QROPS sub-Committee and the Code of Practice QROPS Group. Speaks widely on the subject of QROPS, QNUPS and International Pensions. Directly contributing to the drafting of Guernsey pension legislation and has met HMRC pension’s policy and HMT representatives to discuss QROPS. Active in combating pension scams and pension liberation including technical and full committee membership of The Pension Scams Industry Group (PSIG), the UK voluntary body set up to combat pension scams through the publication of good practice in due diligence. Associate member of UK industry body AMPS. Contributed to UK Government working party reviewing effectiveness of advice on DB transfers.

Higher education was in the UK, but was born and brought up in Guernsey, the son of a high profile politician. Maintains interest in politics and constitutional issues. Trained with KPMG but soon moved from being an employee to an employer, becoming a Partner in a local firm of accountants with a fiduciary business. In 2004 acquired that business and the Concept Group was born.

Created and had approved Guernsey’s first personal pension multi member 157A scheme in 2006 soon followed by world’s first personal pension multi member QROPS also in 2006, now the template used by all main providers worldwide. Instrumental in the development of QNUPS and both Trust and Contract based pension arrangements.

A graduate of the Institute of Directors company direction programme, he serves as chairman of the board of Guernsey Finance LBG, which is the organisation responsible for promoting Guernsey as an international finance centre. He is also a member of the CITYUK leadership council which is the industry-led body representing UK-based financial services.

In addition to his thirteen years as a Non-Exec Director with Concept Group, Lyndon also holds positions with a focus on discretionary fund management, Investment reporting and advisory and private equity and is the independent trustee of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Associations Trust Funds.
